Global warming and climate change are upon us.  This is clear to nearly everyone by just observing how the climate has changed where they live.  The Middle East is also experiencing this.  Average temperatures are rising along the Mediterranean coast line and for the first time a cyclone devastated the gulf coast of Oman. 

Only through education will people of the world understand what is happening and how they have a direct impact on the health of our planet.  Libraries and librarians are the repositories and guardians of information. This role is central to informing our society of the urgency of this global problem. 

TechKnowledge is committed to being a green company.  We do things that everyone should be doing including recycling, going electronic, and printing as little paper as possible.  We try to conserve energy by using sunlight as much as possible, using energy efficient light bulbs and keeping air-conditioning for when it is really necessary (a little warmth never hurt anyone).
These are small steps that everyone should be participating in. 

TechKnowledge is creating special environmental packages from the best sources, and is negotiating with those publishers in order to make their collections affordable to universities with relevant programs.  Any one dedicating their life to the research of the environment should have access to the very best information!!!   

The health of our planet is in crisis and we must do everything we possibly can to help heal her.
